Biography

Omar is an Economist currently managing director at ITI Integrating Economies GmbH (ITI). He demonstrates an exceptional track record in economic development through foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction, facilitation policies & government incentives projects. Omar supports European, African, and Middle Eastern clients’ projects within the complete process of cross-border investment expansion. Before ITI Omar worked as an economic consultant at OCO Global, where he pre-dominantly managed large FDI attraction projects in the Middle East region, attracting European companies to the Gulf region and North Africa as well as supporting companies' entry to the European market.

Omar started his career as an FDI Consultant at Conway Data, where he managed site selection projects across Europe and the Americas as well as representing leading investment promotion agencies in Europe & the Middle East.

Omar holds an MSc in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, an LL.M in the Economic Analyses of Laws from the University of Hamburg & BSc in Quantitative Economics from the University of Loughborough. Collaborated with world-leading investment agencies, economic development boards & free zones
